History and Company Philosophy

Epic Landscape Productions began in 1991

when John Constant, a landscape architect, and
Marty Siler, a degreed horticulturist, imagined a
company of passionate people trained to reflect
nature’s grandeur in the design, installation
and maintenance of landscapes.

Today, with Epic’s team of skilled and dedicated employees,
John and Marty’s dream is reality. Now, day in and day out,
Epic brings to life the dreams of its clients by creating and
constructing unique outdoor living environments for each one.

In fact, Epic’s team of landscape architects, designers,
horticulturists, experienced managers and expert craftsmen
not only constructs but also maintains over 1,600 acres of turf
and landscapes in the greater Kansas City metro area.

This team works hard to find creative ways to give the best value to each and every client – implementing services with timeliness, honesty, integrity and the unwavering commitment to that old-fashioned idea that the job is not finished until it’s done right!

Epic’s production departments are comprised of over 250 trained, quality people, and over 150 vehicles and 500 pieces of equipment, all clean and expertly maintained. These departments work from Epic’s three locations in Gardner, Olathe and North Kansas City.

This professional workforce is managed by Epic’s maintenance department director, Lonny Ryburn, and Epic’s landscape construction and nursery department director, Steve Nelson, as well as competent mechanical, office and accounting support staff.

With a 96 percent renewal rate, it is evident that Epic customers have resoundingly affirmed Epic’s success!
